DevThread.

Reconciliation and recovery

Compare the saved plan with what the repository currently supports.

Compare plans with evidence

Ask DevThread to inspect a requirement or task, search relevant source and tests, and associate findings with that task. It should classify evidence, describe the search boundary, and flag stale status or contradictory checks.

Compare the roadmap with the code. Reconcile each task against relevant source and tests, and explain any drift.

Reconciliation can update .devthread/ evidence and reports. It does not change application code unless you explicitly request implementation.

Resume in a new session

Ask for status and next with the project open. The saved map identifies goals, decisions, and dependencies; current source and check results establish whether the plan still fits.

Use DevThread to recover this project's context. Show blockers and evidence gaps, then recommend the next eligible task with a reason.

Resolve drift

Review any mismatches before proceeding. A completed task with a new failing test needs investigation. A visible source implementation without a recorded check is likely, not automatically verified. If no task is eligible, DevThread should explain the dependency or status issue rather than inventing work.
